08/30/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Cooperstown, NY Keegan is a talented 3B who showcased his abilities as a prospect at the All Ripken Games. At third base, he moves with smooth, fluid actions, using his active footwork to get behind the ball and maintain momentum toward his target. His glove work is clean, presenting well out front, and his foot quickness allows him to cover a lot of ground. His throws are accurate and carry well to his target. Offensively, Keegan features a squared setup with a solid approach, and his quick hands work through a level swing path, enabling him to hit to all fields. He displays plus instincts on the bases and is aggressive when running. With time and room to grow, Keegan has significant upside to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
