08/01/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Dallas, TX Kenneth is a promising corner infielder and right-handed pitcher who showcased his competitive edge at the All-Ripken event in Frisco, TX. On the mound, he exhibited a balanced delivery with excellent coordination, transitioning smoothly from slow to fast prior to his pitches. His fastball ranged from 48-52 mph, demonstrating good command within the strike zone. His mechanics feature solid arm speed, allowing him to consistently deliver pitches with a repeatable motion. Kenneth effectively manages the running game by holding runners and varying his looks to the plate. Offensively, he was productive, putting the ball in play several times and recording a single during the event. As he refines his offensive approach, focusing on the transition from his load phase to stride phase will help him keep his bat in the hitting zone longer. Kenneth’s development on both sides of the game makes him an intriguing player to follow.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
