08/04/2010 - Pirate City World Series 2010 - Session 1 Kenneth is a young (2013) two-way player on the mound plus at 1B with a tall, lean frame that shows projection as he continues to physically mature, adding muscle mass. Currently, he projects best on the mound for the next level. Fastball shows a range of 76-81 mph with slightly above average off speed pitches that show potential as being quality pitches at the next level. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with tight spin. Changeup shows a feel foe with sinking action. He attacks hitters as he throws strikes with all his pitches, changing speeds well. At 1B, he makes the routine plays and is a solid receiver. Offensively, Rotunno shows a balanced approach and is aggressive with his hands but has some mechanical flaws that are hindering him from reaching his full potential with grades improving with instruction and adjustments. With 3 years to further develop, Kenneth has potential on the mound and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
