12/12/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - East Hampton (Hartford), CT Kody is a RHP prospect who will graduate in 2024. On the mound, Kody shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 74mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 63-64mph with 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 67-68mph with sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. Gathering to a balance point over the rubber can help Kody be more controlled throughout his delivery. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid to load and drives through well with his lower half. He stays direct through the ball and produces consistent contact and line drives. Kody can barrel up more baseballs by keeping his hands compact in his load. Overall, Kody is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
