08/15/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Honolulu, HI Kolton is a SS who will graduate in 2024. Medium frame lean build with some present strength and room to add more strength. In the infield, he starts with active feet and ability to make routine plays. Showed smooth actions in the field, with good body control, and ability to create good fielding angles. Fields out front, with a quick/clean transfer, and creates momentum on his throws across the diamond at 76mph. At the plate, Kolton hits from a closed and athletic stance. Quiet head and level eyes enable him to track pitches well. Rotates hips thru the baseball and showed good barrel control. Made contact to all fields during his BP round with a bat exit velocity up to 65mph. Has a bright future on the baseball field with continued growth and development.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
