05/12/2013 - College PREP - Boise, ID Kris is a SS who has a athletic and solid build. Defensively, he maintains active footwork pre-pitch as well and through the ball. He shows good range with the ability to move to his backhand well. He has some arm strength and makes accurate throws across the diamond. At the plate, this right-handed hitter displays a tall and open stance getting into a solid loaded position. He shows consistency in his swing and is a pull type hitter. If he can improve his weight transfer and fire his lower 1/2, power can increase. Kris still has time to work on his game as he is approaching his senior year.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
