10/20/2024 - National Showcase - Orange County, CA Kush is a versatile first baseman and outfielder from Los Angeles, CA, who is an exciting left-handed hitter and thrower with a solid all-around skill set. In the infield, he displays fluid footwork and excellent agility, maintaining a low fielding position with a strong glove angle. His quick release and smooth momentum allow him to make accurate, on-target throws to his target with ease. In the outfield, he works efficiently behind and through the ball, showcasing solid range and a reliable high one-handed catch. His throws from a high 3/4 arm slot are consistently accurate and strong, demonstrating his arm strength and defensive versatility. At the plate, he hits from a crouched stance, using quick hands and the ability to adjust his swing path to make solid contact. His natural strength is evident as the ball jumps off his bat, consistently reaching 94 mph on hard contact. As a junior, he has strong potential, though continued development in all phases of his game will be key to unlocking his full capabilities. With further growth, he has the makings of a well-rounded and impactful player.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
