01/15/2010 - Under Armour Pre-Season All-America - 2010 Kyle is a young, tall, athlete that will graduate in 2011. He currently projects better on the mound than at 3B, but still has time to improve at both positions. On the mound, Kyle's FB touched 82 MPH and his delivery is quick to the plate. He has good balance, rhythm, and lands in a closed position. Kyle is around the plate with all of his pitches and with better shoulder direction, and more top 1/2 flexion, his pitching abilities can further improve. At 3B, Kyle improved his arm and fielding grades from 42's to 45's. His hands and feet work well and he makes the routine plays. Kyle is good turning the double play and also on the slow roller. Less steps, a looser arm, and more accuracy to the target will help him defensively. At the plate, Kyle has a quick bat and good load. He shows good bat speed and can hit the baseball the other way. Offensive numbers could get better with a wider stance and by avoiding flying open.
