01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Kyle continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are excellent as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (90 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap to gap pop.

06/23/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Las Vegas, NV Kyle is an athletic SS who has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed is well above average as indicated by his 7.06 60 time. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally and covers ground. Hands / feet work well together are he gets rid of the baseball quickly with accuracy and carry on his throws. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying outstanding hitting / power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (91 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He shows a feel for the barrel and makes consistent hard contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. With 3 years to further develop, Kyle has potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
