09/18/2024 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic (2026)
Landon Miller, a 2026 C/1B from Seattle, WA, showcased his skills at the Arizona Junior Fall Classic. Defensively, his standout tool is his exceptional ability to frame pitches, helping his pitching staff steal several strikes throughout the tournament. To enhance his game even further, focusing on his exchange and arm strength will help reduce his pop time behind the plate.
At the plate, Miller consistently puts the ball in play and rarely swings and misses, demonstrating his solid contact skills. With this reliable approach, he can confidently swing with intent to drive the ball. Throughout the week, he collected two base hits and drew two walks, highlighting his offensive contributions. As he learns to engage his lower half more in his swing, he will undoubtedly add more power to his already impressive skill set. Miller is well on his way to becoming a key player in the future!
01/27/2024 - National Showcase - Bothell (Seattle), WA
Landon is a 2026 C prospect with an athletic frame at 6'1" 190 pounds. Behind the dish, he gets in a good setup and shows off active feet. He works hard to give a good target and receive with firm hands. He tracks the ball well. He makes accurate throws with strength online to his targets. He does a great job on balls in the dirt, doing well to get a good down angle with his chest and tucking his chin. At the plate, he starts in a squared, athletic stance and has an on-time stride with a good load. He shows off smooth movements to the baseball and does a great job of keeping his balance centered through contact. His lower half works through the baseball, and he shows off explosive bat speed with a direct swing path to the ball. He lets his hips explode through contact and finishes strong. He makes loud contact and flashes gap to gap power with some pop to the pull side. He also gets great backspin on the baseball, really flashing the ability to drive the ball. Overall, Landon is an exciting prospect that we are looking forward to seeing more of in the future!
10/18/2023 - Arizona Easton Fall Classic
Landon is an athletic 6ft 1/190 C/1B in the 2026 class out of Seattle, WA who is coachable, works hard, hustles, and is a team player. Behind the plate, he is a plus receiver and blocking catcher. Shows a soft and relaxed feel and stays quiet. Keeps his eyes behind the baseball and the ball sticks to his pocket. Is solid with his blocking technique and is quick to recover. He gains ground on his throws and can get rid of the baseball well. Registered at 2.32 pop and with further strength, he can obtain a 2.0 with his skill set. At the plate, he displays strong power and can drive the baseball to the gaps. Showed well in the games with 3 hits (2 2B’s) in 8 plate appearances. Keeps his swing simple and repeatable and working on further extension will help backspin the baseball more. Overall, Landon is a must follow in the 2026 class.

Landon is a C prospect who will graduate in 2026. Tall frame athletic build with strength present and plenty of room to add strength throughout. Primary C who shows an easy sit with ability to catch the outer half of baseball. He works his thumb under baseball and sticks baseball. Creates good blocking angles and covers the 5-hole. Good direction to second base as he replaces his feet and has a clean transfer. Made on-line throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, with momentum towards his target, and an arm velocity up to 73mph with a best pop time of 2.22 seconds. A right-handed hitter he hits from an athletic and square stance. Smooth timing, with relaxed hands, and good barrel control at contact. Shows intent in swing with ability to do damage on the low pitch. During his round of BP, Landon hit balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 83mph. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we foresee this C prospect making huge strides on the baseball field.

Landon is a 2026 C prospect with a tall, lean frame at 6'1" 180 pounds. Behind the dish, Landon has a good setup pre-pitch and shows off quick, active feet. He has a quick exchange with a short arm action. His blocking is impressive and he did a good job of making sure his glove stayed down on balls in the dirt. His chest gets a good angle down when blocking as well. He works hard to gain ground on his throws. At the plate, he starts with a squared stance and features a short stride with a good load. He has a line-drive approach and sprays the ball to all fields. His lower half helps him maintain good balance throughout his swing and works well with his hips. He flashed some pop to the pull side in his round and recorded a max exit velo of 79 MPH. With 3+ more years of high school, we are excited to see Landon's growth and believe he is more than capable of playing at the next level.
