08/11/2024 - All-In National Showcase - Council Bluffs (Omaha), IA Landon is an OF/2B who will graduate high school in 2029. Takes aggressive routes to ground balls in OF with active feet. Has a clean exchange off of his left with a good glove angle. Shows a loose arm stroke in back working to a 3/4 release coming forward. He made on-line throws through his cutoff man. Hits from an athletic and even stance. Gets his hands separated and is balanced throughout his swing. Shows a level barrel path with a high finish after contact. Made contact to all fields during his round of BP. We foresee this rising 8th grader improving in all phases with continued growth and development.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
