Official Scouting Report

  • Class Rating
  • 3B/RHPPosition Projection

06/04/2023 - National Showcase - Colorado Springs, CO Levi is a 2027 3B/RHP prospect with an athletic frame from Denver, CO. At third, he shows off quick feet and range to the glove side. He gets in an athletic fielding position and shows firm hands out in front with good feel for the glove. He also impressed with a nice backhand. His exchange is quick and he makes accurate throws across the diamond with a quick release from a 3/4 slot. Works hard to attack the baseball and find good hops. At the plate, he starts in an open stance and gets a good load. He does well to keep his balance centered and works through the baseball with his lower half. He has good movements with his hips and really extends through contact, finishing strong. He made hard, consistent line-drive contact throughout his round, barreling up 7 out of 12 swings and recording a max exit velo of 75 MPH. On the mound, he throws from a 3/4 arm slot and features a 3-pitch mix. His eyes stay direct to his target and he stays squared through his delivery to the plate, doing well to get to a good balance point in between. He has a proper stride length for his frame and he extends through his release point. His hips rotate to his target when finishing. His velo will continue to improve as his arm strength increases. Levi is definitely an exciting prospect to keep an eye on as he enters his freshman year of high school next fall!

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
