07/21/2022 - Baseball Factory National World Series at IMG Academy - Session 2 (HS) Liam is a SS/RHP in the 2024 class. In the field, he begins in an athletic position and feet are agile. He sinks his hips well and fields under the baseball. Hands are out in front and he turns the ball around quickly to his targets. Has solid feeds and turns around the bag and releases from a 3/4 slot. On the mound, he has a good feel for the position and stays composed. His FB has numerous arm slots and can sit from 68-74. His CB sits 51-53 with 10/4 shape. Shows solid balance and actions are smooth. At the plate, he is an aggressive hitter with intent to do damage. His loose hands move well in a simple load and he is in a solid position to hit. Has bat speed to produce line drives from pole to pole. Is an alert baserunner and runs hard 90's. Overall, Liam is talent to follow in the 2024 class.

03/20/2022 - All-In Membership - Trenton, NJ Liam is a RHP/SS prospect who will graduate in 2024. Medium frame lean build with some strength present. At SS, showed active/efficient feet as he takes aggressive routes to baseball with ability to play through the ball. Works around baseball, with good direction towards target, and showed good lateral range. Loose arm action with a 3/4 release point as he made accurate/on-line throws to first base with an arm velocity up to 73mph. On the mound, gathers over the rubber, with a good rear hip coil, and works with good direction down the mound. He separates his hands on-time and extends out front. Works with good tempo and has some deception to his delivery. Flashed a FB that that topped out at 63mph with good movement in the zone, a 10/4 shaped slider with tight spin, and a developing changeup. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and open stance. Showed fluid timing to swing, with quick hands, and showed good barrel control. Has a fast barrel through the hitting zone as he made hard contact during his round of BP. He hit balls consistently into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 80mph. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we foresee this 2-way prospect making huge strides on the baseball field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
