08/01/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Dallas, TX Liam is a rising star on the diamond who recently played well at the Ripken Games in Frisco, TX. He has a real feel for the game and plays with passion. Defensively, he creates athletic movements and makes the routine play look routine. He has plus arm action. At the plate, he displays excellent bat to ball skills and a fluid swing. Had a solid weekend at the plate with 3 base hits, one walk and several quality swings. Overall, Liam is an up-and-coming player and with continued hard work, he will have a fine career.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
