08/01/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Dallas, TX Lincoln is a rising prospect who caught the attention of scouts at multiple positions during the All-Ripken games in Frisco, TX. On the mound, he showcased a fastball ranging from 58-61 mph, along with a breaking ball at 50 mph. As he continues to refine his skills, focusing on keeping his eyes on the target will enhance his confidence and accuracy in throwing strikes. At the plate, Lincoln demonstrated his ability to consistently put the ball in play, accumulating multiple hits throughout the event. He displayed an aggressive approach, highlighted by a notable double to right-center field later in the games. As he matures, incorporating a baseball-centric weightlifting program will help him build strength and further enhance his already impressive skill set. Lincoln is certainly a player to watch as he continues to develop.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
