05/20/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Gambrills, MD Logan is a young, 2-way player who plays 1B and LHP. Defensively, Logan has active feet, soft hands, and he makes plays on balls hit his way. He keeps it in front of his body, has a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy to his target. On the mound, Logan has good balance, he separates on time, and has a controlled landing toward home plate. Offensively, Logan has a square set-up, he loads well, and stands in well balanced. He has some bat speed, makes contact, and uses some lower body. Logan will need to work on the following in order to improve overall skills.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
