11/08/2024 - Baseball Factory West Coast Fall Training (MS) Logan is a shortstop and right-handed pitcher from Wisconsin, set to graduate in the 2030 high school class. During his time at the Baseball Factory West Coast Fall Training in Arizona, Logan demonstrated a strong work ethic and a commitment to improving his skills. Defensively, he works hard to center the baseball and exhibits good glove actions, with a low funnel and active footwork when making throws. However, he will need to focus on improving his first step reads and overall mobility to become a more dynamic presence at shortstop. At the plate, Logan starts with an upright stance and comfortable hands, using a small glide step to initiate his swing. His ability to stay on plane and keep the barrel in the hitting zone for a long time gives him a solid foundation for making consistent contact. As a right-handed pitcher, Logan starts square and gathers his motion well, keeping his shoulders in line. He throws a fastball, curveball, and changeup, but will need to work on using his legs more effectively and improving his front-side mechanics. As a 7th grader, Logan still has significant time to grow and refine his skills. With continued hard work and focus on his development, he has a bright future ahead in both positions.
