06/21/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Logan is a class of 2024 LHP/OF. At the plate, he starts in an open stance before striding back to a more square position. He does a good job of loading his lower ½ before getting it through the baseball in his swing. He does a good job of staying balanced and has smooth rhythm. In the field, he does a good job of covering ground with help from his efficient footwork. He does a good job of staying aggressive on balls hit in front of him. On the mound, he shows off a clean delivery. His best pitch is his changeup that shows late life. He also shows feel for his curveball that has 12-6 breaking action. His fastball is thrown with good arm speed and he shows feel for it by consistently finding the strike zone. Logan is a good player with three more years left to develop before college baseball arrives.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
