01/13/2023 - Baseball Factory's Spring Training at Jackie Robinson Training Complex (HS) Logan is a 2023 LHH 1B/OF prospect. In the field, he's very relaxed pre-pitch and gets a good first step. He stays on time through fielding and makes clean exchanges and gets rid of the ball well. Needs to improve his footwork at 1B. He recorded a raw velo of 77 mph. At the dish, he is squared with comfortable hands. Did a good job making adjustments and was rewarded with good results during games. He gets good extension through the baseball and makes consistent hard contact. His bat speed is good and can hit to all fields. Ran his exit velo up to 81 mph. Good growth from this 2-way player.

05/15/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Waco, TX Logan is an OF/1B who will graduate in 2023. Tall frame stout build with strength present and room to fill throughout. In the OF, he showed good do or die form as he throws from a low 3/4 arm slot. He tries to work behind the ball and had an arm velocity up to 73mph on his throws into infield. In the infield, he fields from a square fielding position with hands out front. He tracks well to glove and has a high exchange. Showed good bag awareness. At the plate, he hits from an upright and open stance. He keeps his hands inside the ball as he hit balls to the opposite field. He made contact to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 71mph. With another year of growth and development, we foresee this 2-way player having a bright future on the baseball field.

12/27/2021 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 2 Logan is a coachable 1B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City. In the field, Logan makes the routine plays and works through his back hand well. His exchange is clean and he works to make accurate throws to his target. Presenting his hands out in front to the ball can help Logan field ground balls more efficiently. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic stance and shows great plate discipline. He drives through well with his lower half and produces solid contact. Logan can generate more pop off the barrel by getting more extension through the ball. Overall, Logan is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Highland Park (DFW), TX Logan is a C/1B who will graduate in 2023. Tall frame thick build, with broad shoulders, and strength present and room to add throughout. At C, he has a big frame and tracks well. He works around the baseball as he gains ground to second base. Tries to work thumb under baseball while keeping balls in the strike zone. Throws from a low 3/4 release point with an arm velocity up to 72mph and a best pop time of 2.53 seconds. Uses his chest to block and keeps ball in front of him. In the infield, he works to center the baseball and closes the distance on batted balls. Made accurate and on-line throws to second base with a quick release. Showed good bag awareness. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and square stance. Has a good base to start, with weight between his knees, and keeps his hands inside the baseball. He hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 70mph. With 2 more years of growth and development, we foresee Logan having a bright future on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
