12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Logan is a 2025 3B/RHP who showcased his talents at the BF Recruiting Classic. At 3B, he has good initial instincts. He has a solid first step and throws from a ¾ arm slot with accurate throws across the infield. His top raw velocity was 80 mph. At the plate, he has an athletic stance and loose hands. He has an activated load and a good lower 1/2. He did a great job of driving the ball to the middle of the field during batting practice and had an exit velocity of 78 mph. On the mound, he had a fastball that sat 74-76 mph and he was able to throw it for a lot of strikes. His curveball showed some good break at times and sat at 60-62 mph. In his 2 innings of work, he only one run and picked up a strikeout. He also had a pair of hits on his own and was able to hit the ball to all fields. With a year of development and growth before his senior season, we foresee great things coming for Logan.

08/06/2023 - National Showcase - Seattle, WA Logan is an athletic 3B/RHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At 3B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls but needs to play through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach, spraying balls to all fields. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball shows a range of 71-73 mph with tailing action. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 2 years to further develop, Logan has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
