Defensively, Luke has a strong baseball IQ and excels at positioning, always knowing where to play to maximize his chances of making the play. While his arm strength could use some development, his overall defensive instincts and ability to read hitters and situations make him a reliable presence in the infield. As he continues to build arm strength, his range and overall defensive game will improve. On the mound, Luke’s fastball was clocked at 73 MPH, and his curveball and changeup came in at 62 MPH and 63 MPH, respectively.
