Mack is a C/1B in the 2024 class. In the field, he has solid footwork and plus range. He covers his defensive zone well and is strong to the 4-hole. Centers his body to the baseball and can knock it down and recover. Uses a ¾ slot and is accurate to his targets. At the plate, he begins in a closed stance and is athletic in his set-up. He sees the baseball well and has a feel for his barrel. He shows line drive production and can use the whole field. Behind the plate, he clocked a 2.4 pop time. He stays low on his blocks and receives with his thumb under. Overall, Mack has two defensive positions to work hard at. Scouts felt he has the desire to improve and they are eager to see his development.

Mack continues to shine with his baseball abilities on the diamond. Behind the plate he shows a squared setup and tracks the ball well with soft glove. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but will benefit by getting body down sooner. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.20 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active and displays proper footwork around the bag and he is a quality receiver. Hands are clean is clean but needs to present earlier and more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate, he shows a crouched, open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

Mack is a C/RHP in the 2024 class. Behind the plate, he has active feet and is athletic in his set-up. Presents a firm target and has pocket feel. Transfer path has advanced feel and arm is loose. Feeds are accurate and on-line to his target (2.10 pop). On the mound, he uses two pitches from a 3’4 slot. His FB pounds the zone at topped at 67. His breaking pitch sat 56-7 and showed positive command. At the plate, he proves to be a solid line drive hitter who stays inside his feet well. Loads his hands well and his rhythm is fluid. Working to stay in his back hip and generate drive will increase his power potential. Overall, Mack is a sold player and with continued adjustments, can develop into a fine prospect.
09/03/2021 - Baseball Factory's All-Region Tournament (HS)
Mack is a 2024 C who showcased his skills at the All Region Tournament. Behind the plate, he showed an easy sit with good good hip/ankle mobility. He plays with high energy and good effort. Throws to second were accurate and on-line with an arm velocity up to 74mph. Tries to create blocking angles with ability to close distance. At the plate, creates good timing and ability to get his front foot down on time. Short/direct barrel path as he made contact to all fields. In live game action, he showed good plate discipline and drew 2 base on balls. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we see Mack having a bright future on the baseball field.
07/30/2021 - Baseball Factory Pro Select Training & Tournament at Jackie Robinson Training Complex (HS)
Mack continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.33 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a squared setup and presents a soft mitt out front and utilizes his body through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through an open setup. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact and stays inside the ball through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

Mack continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Behind the dish, he presents a clean mitt, sticking pitches in zone. He uses his body through the blocking process but needs to work to get body down sooner. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.60 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 1B, he displays proper foot work around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a tall, open setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.
09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament
Mack is a hard worker who continues to develop on the diamond. Behind the dish, he sits in well and tracks pitches into his mitt, sticking the ball and framing well. He works hard laterally to body-up pitches in the dirt. Transfer is clean with accurate throws down to 2B. Times will continue to drop as he increases his arm strength. With the bat, this righty shows a tall stance with centered balance. He takes an aggressive hack on a short/direct path and sprays the ball to all parts of the field. Increased power will come with more lower 1/2 drive. Only a 2024 grad - Mack has tools with still a ton of time to develop.
07/23/2020 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14)
Mack is a coachable C/1B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. Behind the plate, Mack tracks the ball into his glove and works to block balls in the dirt. Sitting in a lower stance can help Mack improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an open stance and takes a centered stride. He gets into his load well and hits against a strong front side. He rotates his core and produces solid contact. Mack can improve as a hitter by taking a shorter swing path. With four more years to develop, Mack has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.
02/09/2020 - National Tryout Plus - Gainesville, FL
Mack raised arm velocity to 64 MPH and exit velocity to 65 MPH during his last workout in Gainesville. Behind the plate, Mack sits in quietly, footwork is efficient, and he covers ground well. He takes good angles to block, his exchange is clean, and he has an accurate arm to 2nd base. Pop times lowered to 3.15 seconds as well. At 1B, Mack has good range, he fields in a square position, and he shows firm hands. He keeps the ball in front, his exchange is clean, and he throws with some accuracy across the diamond. Offensively, this RHH has a square stance, he tracks well, and he loads his hands properly. He gets the bat through the zone well and hits hard to the pull side.
07/07/2019 - Baseball Factory Cleveland All Star Experience (Ages 12-14)
Mack is a young 2024 catcher. Behind the dish Mack shows good actions with an athletic primary stance and receives with a quiet glove. His secondary is square, then he replaces to throw to second with a two-hand exchange and gets rid of the ball making accurate throws. He shows good blocking footwork that is smooth and keeps the ball in front well. Mack can improve his catching by long tossing and getting stronger. Mack starts slightly open at the plate with comfortable hands. He starts his load and works to get on plane separating his hips and hands well working to hit line drives. Working on bat speed will increase Mack's offensive production. Overall Mack is young and is still growing into his body, with improved arm strength and overall strength he will make large strides.

Mack is a lean catcher who will graduate in 2024. Behind the plate, Mack presents his glove well, he holds a wide target, and he works around the ball well. He sits in squarely, he deadens the ball softly, and he moves well laterally. Mack throws with a 3/4 arm slot to 2nd base with pop times as low as 3.3 seconds. Offensively, Mack has a crouched set-up, a square stride, and he makes consistent contact. Overall skills can improve with work on the following.
