06/15/2013 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 Arnold is a tall/lean built two-way player - SS/RHP that will graduate in 2014. In Omaha, he ran his best 60 to date - 7.03 seconds. His defense is showing consistency with soft hands and fluid footwork. He has good carry on his throws after fielding balls and releasing quickly. Offensively, he has good head control - tracking the ball in to contact, and flashes strong lower half rotation. On the mound, he works to get ahead in counts, pounding the strike zone and changing speeds with an 11/5 curve-ball and change-up with fade. Markus projects nicely as a two-way guy at the next level, that competes anywhere you put him.
