Hirsch continues to show shine on the diamond with athleticism evident on both sides of the baseball. Defensively, he has bumped up his arm strength 7mph since our last viewing now up to 77mph. He can throw from multiple arm angles with carry on each throw. Glove to hand transfer is quick and clean. He moves just as well to his backhand as he does to his forehand. At the plate, exit velocities were as high as 82mph. He has always swung with intent, but it seems as if he's gone up another level in the department. He gets every ounce into each of his swings but does it in a quiet way. With two high school seasons still in front of him, Mason should continue to turn heads.
01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament
This 2025 graduate continued to impress at the Rookie Pre-Season All-American. Like most middle infielders, Hirsch makes his money on the defensive side of the ball. Up the middle, he works from the ground up with lightness in his footwork. He established consistent fluidity in his movements through creating angles and keeping his momentum towards his target after release of the baseball. At the plate, he shows a confident feel with the ability to use all fields. Hirsch does not get cheated at the plate and finishes his swings with authority. We were also impressed with his broad jump of 7'4" which is 7 inches further than he jumped 6 months ago proving to us that he's putting in the work.

Mason is an athletic and talented 2025 SS prospect that was eager to learn. At SS, Mason is on time with his pre step, he presents a low/early glove, and works around the ball. He has good actions to the ball and has good hands. He needs to continue to play through his back hand and improve his footwork on double plays. At the plate, mason has a good eye for the strike zone, he gets to balance, and gets his lower half through the swing.
