01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament Max is an athletic SS/RHP who is a prospect on the diamond. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he moves with smooth and fluid actions. He uses his active feet to get behind the ball and maintains momentum toward his target. His glove action is clean and presents out front. He utilizes his foot quickness (7.25 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying solid hitting / power potential through a squared setup. Hands are quick (81 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 76-79 mph. Breaking ball dis-plays 11/5 shape with sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Stock on the mound will continue to improve as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 3 years to further develop, Max has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to develop his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
