08/06/2012 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Michael is a 2B/SS that will graduate in 2013. His feet are active as he moves well laterally and displays clean hands. He makes the routine plays but needs to attack ground balls more, increase his foot speed, and present his hands more out front to continue to improve defensive grades. His throws are accurate, flashing carry but will benefit by building more arm strength / carry through a long toss program. At the plate, Carnevale shows a balanced setup with rhythm. He shows a sound recognition of the strike zone as he tracks the ball well. His hands work through a level path with grades improving as he improves his bat speed and works to keep his hands inside the ball. Power numbers will increase as he learns to use his lower half more. At the event, he was 3 for 8. Michael has abilities with a lot of room to improve.
