12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Michael is a dedicated 2027 outfielder from Fort Mill, SC, who worked hard to improve his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City camp. In the field, he works efficiently through the baseball, taking good angles and fielding from a square position with a clean exchange off his left foot. His quick arm delivers accurate throws from a high three-quarter arm slot, demonstrating strong defensive skills. At the plate, Michael is a left-handed hitter who starts in an athletic stance with comfortable hands. He uses a small hand load to separate his hands, getting on plane and making solid contact. In live game action, he reached base with a single and a walk, showing his ability to contribute offensively. With two more years of growth and development, Michael has the potential to continue refining his skills and become an even more impactful player.

09/29/2024 - National Showcase - Kannapolis (Charlotte), NC Michael is a rising sophomore outfielder prospect who demonstrates excellent instincts with good reads off the bat, allowing him to cover ground effectively in all directions. He works behind and through the ball, delivering accurate, online throws to the infield. As a left-handed hitter, he showcases quick hands and smooth timing, consistently making contact to the pull side at speeds up to 79 mph. With continued growth and development, he is well-positioned to enhance his skills and impact on the game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
