01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL)
Michael continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 6.88 runner. At SS, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. He has plus lateral range, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires accurate throws but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing as he maintains balance. Michael has potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.
01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ)
Michael is a class of 2022 shortstop prospect that recently showcased his abilities at Baseball Factory's Preseason All-American tournament. He shows off an athletic build with good foot speed running his 60 yard dash in a quick 6.94 seconds. In the field, he showed a good ability to create angles. Showed good range to both sides of his body. Flashed additional athleticism with his ability to change arm angles and make off balanced throws. At the plate, this right handed hitter starts in an athletic stance. Does a good job getting his barrel on plane. Stayed balanced throughout the entirety of his swing. In live game action, he was able to reach base twice with a walk and a single. Michael is a good prospect that we expect to have opportunities to play at the next level.
12/27/2021 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic
Michael continues to shine in his baseball abilities at the Recruiting Classic showcase. At SS, he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active but needs to play through more with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally and utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground in the MIF. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight into a firm front side. At the event, he was 4 for 9. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and great team player.

Michael continues to shine with his baseball abilities at the Academic All-American showcase. At SS, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active and play through with is body he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents out front. He moves well laterally and utilizes his quick feet in covering ground in the MIF. Throws are accurate with carry (81 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing and he maintains balance.

Feet are active as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft and presents well out front. In the OF, he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. Range is a plus as he utilizes his quick feet well in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with carry (81 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, he continues to shine through an open, athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach, utilizing the middle of the field well.

At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He is smooth getting into his load and drives through well with his lower half. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. At the event, he was 3 for 6 with a 2B. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.
01/06/2018 - Southwest Regional Accelerated Hitting Weekend (Ages 12-14)
Michael is a hard working and athletic 2022 prospect. He's a student of the game and made several adjustments during the Hitting Accelerated Training Weekend. At the plate Michael starts in an open stance and has a long stride. Shorten his stride will allow him to keep him self from drifting toward the ball. He loads his hands back into the drive position and has fast hands. Continuing to create separation in his hands and front side will allow him to stay compact to the ball. Michael will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.
11/05/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Plano (DFW), TX
Michael is a very talented young MIF prospect who continues to show well on the diamond. Defensively, he is aggressive and comes to get the GB working fluidly from right to left around the ball. He picks out the hops, funnels smoothly and has a quick exchange to throw. As a hitter, this righty displays an open stance and strides in to the pitch. Quick hands whip the barrel on a level path as he squares the ball up and hits it where it's pitched utilizing the entire field. Even more power potential is there with added physical strength and more lower 1/2 drive. Only a 2022 grad, Hull is a skilled athlete who has a bright future ahead of him in the game.
12/27/2016 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2
Michael is a hard working SS/2B with good baseball instincts. Defensively, Michael has a good feel for balls off the bat, and gets into a strong fielding position. If Michael continues to stay down on the ball, exchange the ball in front of his body, and follow through on slow rollers he will increase his ability to play the Infield. At the plate, Michael had a good approach and made adjustments each at bat. If Michael continues to create rhythm in his hands, get his hands into the drive position, and use his lower half he will create hard contact on the ball. Michael is a positive player and is very coachable. He has tremendous upside and we hope to see his progress.
07/18/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Plano (DFW), TX
Michael is a R/R 2-way player as a SS/OF. With the bat, this righty has a balanced setup with rhythm to load. He takes a hack, whipping the barrel on a direct path. At SS, Hull has active prep and is aggressive to come and get the GB. He tracks the ball into a soft/sure mitt and gathers well. In the OF, he takes a quick first step and tracks down fly-balls with speed. He secures the ball with 2-hands and gains ground with an aggressive crow-hop. Continuing to work on the following will help to improve skills on the diamond.
