08/29/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Baltimore, MD Michael Magro is a 3B/SS that recently played at the All-Ripken Games. On the mound his fastball was clocked at 51 mph. He was able to compliment that with a 42 mile per hour breaking ball. He displayed good arms feet and balance throughout his delivery. add the plate he had pretty good rhythm and a definite feel for the strike zone. He was able to draw two walks and snag a base hit. He also had a very loud out in the form of a long fly ball the center field. Bottom line, he puts the ball and play all the time. Defensively he had a very good understanding and awareness of where to be on relays. And he also got extremely low and athletic as he centered up ground balls he was fielding. This kid has many attributes that benefit him as a ball player but the one that stood out the most and that may benefit him the most amongst others is his relentless hustle when running the bases. He is a player that will put pressure on defenses by doing that and he's going to be successful more often than not due to that.
