12/09/2012 - College PREP - Madison (NYC), NJ Michael worked out both on the mound and at 3B during his last workout in Madison, NJ. On the hill, Michael has a short / quick arm, on-time separation, and good direction toward home. He lands in a sound position, and spots his FB well. Staying tall, finishing off his pitches and adding arm strength will improve mound effectiveness. At 3B, Michael has sure hands, he fields out front and he throws with consistency to his target. Playing more through the ball and not throwing against his body will improve defensive numbers. At the plate, Michael has a square set-up, good balance and he makes consistent contact. He has a level swing and will need to add bat speed and use more lower 1/2 to spike hitting.
