12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Miguel is a 2026 outfielder and right-handed pitcher from Killeen, TX, who worked hard to improve his skills at the Baseball Factory Pirate City Holiday Camp. In the outfield, he works behind the ball well and creates momentum on his throws, showcasing a strong arm with an arm velocity of up to 86 mph. He throws from a high three-quarter arm slot, but needs to be more aggressive in attacking balls to improve his range and consistency. At the plate, Miguel starts with an open stance and keeps his hands high, staying on plane with his swing. He made consistent contact during live game action, including two singles. On the mound, Miguel shows great rhythm and athleticism in his delivery, working downhill to keep hitters off balance. In three innings of work, he struck out six batters and allowed just two hits, proving his effectiveness as a pitcher. Another year of growth and development will help Miguel continue to refine his skills and elevate his overall game.
