11/06/2014 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 12-14) Miguel is a young athletic outfielder who continues to improve each time out. Defensively, he is athletic, has good quickness and controls his body well. He has long loose actions, improved with his tracking abilities and attacks ground balls. He can make strides as an outfielder by improving his arm actions and release. At the plate, Miguel is aggressive and shows good rhythm in his hands. Shortening his load and letting the ball travel will help him to improve offensively.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
