04/28/2013 - College PREP - Tampa, FL Mykhael is an RHP who graduates in 2017. On the mound, he delivers 2 different pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot. FB ranges from 64-65 as he works both sides of the plate. He maintains good rhythm and stays in-line toward the plate. More lower 1/2 drive and a long toss program will help to increase arm strength. As a hitter, Chavis has an aggressive attack and takes a hack. He gets his lower 1/2 through and has some bat speed. Improving his balance and rhythm will help to improve his offensive abilities. As a young player, Mykhael has time and room to improve.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
