01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Myles Prince is a strong and physical catcher with developing power at the plate. At 5'11", 220 lbs, he brings a solid frame suited for durability behind the plate and has the strength to impact the game offensively. His arm strength and pop time allow him to be a reliable presence in controlling the running game, while his receiving and blocking skills continue to improve. At the plate, Prince swings from the right side with power potential, generating an 86 mph exit velocity. His natural strength and bat speed give him the ability to drive the ball effectively, making him a middle-of-the-order threat as he refines his approach. Athletically, Prince possesses exceptional grip strength (140L/118R) and solid lower-body explosiveness, which contribute to his raw power and ability to handle the physical demands of catching. As he continues to develop his agility and quickness, his defensive game will continue to improve. Overall, Prince is a physical and powerful catcher with a strong bat and developing defensive skills. As he refines his mechanics, receiving ability, and offensive consistency, he has the potential to be a key contributor at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
