03/14/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Manalapan, NJ Natello is a 2022 C/3B. Medium frame athletic build and plenty of physical projection remaining. Primary catcher, good actions behind the plate and quiet movements. Good direction towards second base. Works thumb under keeping balls in the zone. Tracks pitches well and tucks chin on balls in dirt. Secondary 3B, with efficient footwork creates good angles. Gathers nicely and works towards target. Stays in front of ball and makes the routine plays. High energy and effort guy. Right-handed hitter hits from an upright and open stance. Showed he could hit pitches where they were pitched during BP. Good extension through the zone. Two years of continued growth and development will bode well for his career at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
