01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Nathan is an OF who showed as a prospect at the All-America Pre-Season Tournament. In the field, he shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a quick exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate with carry through his target. Range is plus as he utilizes his tremendous foot quickness (7.09 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine, displaying well above average hitting / power potential through a squared setup. He gets his hands activated in his load and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with bat speed (87 mph exit velocity), leading to loud contact through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Overall, Nathan is a talented prospect who has the skill set to contribute at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
