10/20/2010 - Arizona Junior Fall Classic - 2010 Nick was effective in his time on the mound at the Arizona Junior Fall Classic as his top-end fastball improved to 82 mph. He is a tall, thin athlete who was fine over at 1B, showing nice, soft hands. He can benefit from getting into a lower fielding position and keeping more weight on the balls of his feet at his fielding position At the plate, he showed the ability to square the ball up well and showed better-than-average power. On the mound, he has a balanced delivery with nice rhythm, getting stacked over his back leg. He uses those long levers effectively and his arm stroke is clean. Can get more out of his lower half, but he does a good job of mixing pitches and locations and should only continue to improve as he gets stronger.
