01/17/2025 - 2025 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Nico Moritz Toledo is a dynamic left-handed outfielder and first baseman with an athletic 5'11", 175 lb frame and a blend of speed, power, and defensive versatility. His 6.59-second 60-yard dash highlights his elite speed, making him a strong defensive presence in the outfield with the ability to track down balls efficiently. His quick footwork and lateral agility (4.38 shuttle time) further enhance his defensive range and base-running ability. At the plate, Toledo possesses a smooth left-handed swing with an 87 mph exit velocity, showcasing strong bat-to-ball skills and developing power. His natural strength (136L/146R grip strength) and explosive lower body (119-inch broad jump) indicate significant power potential, which will continue to improve as he refines his mechanics and approach. Defensively, his athleticism and quick reactions make him a reliable outfielder with the ability to play multiple positions. His speed and range allow him to cover ground effectively, and as he develops his arm strength, he will become an even greater asset in the field. Overall, Toledo is an athletic, high-upside outfielder with elite speed, strong bat control, and emerging power. As he continues to add strength and refine his approach at the plate, he has the tools to make a significant impact at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
