12/27/2022 - Baseball Factory East Coast Winter Classic Nicolas is a 2B prospect out of Poolesville, MD in the class of 2029. In the field, he showed good pre-pitch actions and active footwork. Showed good ability to make the routine play. At the plate, he hit with good rhythm and stayed through the center of the field. Tracked the ball well and recorded multiple walks. Nicolas is a young player with more room to develop in the coming years. We look forward to seeing what the future holds and hope to see him again soon.

11/03/2022 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at the Jackie Robinson Training Complex Nicholas is a 2B in the class of 2029. In the field, he has effective feet and centers his body to the baseball. Fields in an athletic position and his glove is firm. His exchanges are clean and has solid rhythm on his field to throw. Uses short arm action from a high ¾ slot. Creates accurate feeds with carry. At the plate, he shows solid timing and swings with intent. Has good barrel feel and uses his hips well for consistent contact. Scouts feel he has a high baseball awareness level and will become a good player with more practice and game action.

02/26/2022 - Mid-Atlantic Regional Offensive Skills Weekend (MS) Nicholas DePasquale, UTIL 2029, Poolesville, MD Young, athletic hitter who does not get cheated at the plate. Looks to make solid contact, he attacks the ball in the zone to get the most out of his very young frame. Being a 2029 grad, there is a ton of time to develop as the foundation has been laid to create a nice hitter. Excited to see how Nicholas matures on the field moving forward.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
