02/24/2024 - National Showcase - Lake Zurich (Chicago), IL Noah is a talented 5ft 8/200 LHP in the 2024 class. He shows a strong lower half drive off the mound and stays directional from the stretch. He likes to work down in the zone and commands both sides of the plate. Shows promising balance and creates an on-time separation. He operates with a 4-pitch mix from a high 3 qtr. slot. His FB sits 80-2 with arm side run. His SL/CB combo shapes 1-7 with medium break at 70-73. His CH has cutting action with deception at 71-2. Overall, scouts feel Noah can help the right college program next fall.

08/07/2023 - National Showcase - Chicago, IL Noah continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. At 1B, defensive abilities are outstanding as he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry (80 mph velocity) to his target. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved, now displaying outstanding abilities through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (80 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields with gap-to-gap pop. Lower half is aggressive and works well through the swing with power weight transfer. On the mound, arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 80 mph. Fastball showed a range of 79-80 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Slider is harder but resembles breaking ball. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength will aid in improving abilities on the mound.

10/02/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Rosemont (Chicago), IL Noah continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean and presents out front. At the plate, he shows an athletic, open setup. Hands are quick (83 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball shows range of 76-78 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with cutting action. Control is well above average as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program.

06/16/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (HS) Noah is a LHP/1B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series in Omaha. On the mound, he works exclusively from the stretch. He has a good presence on the mound gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He attacks hitters with a FB that topped out at 78mph, a breaking ball 2/8 shape, and a changeup with good sink that he throws with FB arm speed. During the event, he worked 3 innings and only allowed 1 hit and 0 earned runs. In the field, he shows active footwork with a quick first step. He fields the ball out in front with a firm glove and has a clean exchange. He gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in an athletic and open stance with comfortable hands. He gets into a small load and drives through well with his lower half. He works through a compact swing and produces line drives to all fields. During the games, he reached base 4 times with a double, a single, and 2 base on balls. Overall, Noah is a solid prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

01/17/2022 - All-In Membership - Lynwood (Chicago), IL Noah is a LHP/1B prospect who will graduate in 2024. On the mound, Noah gathers over the rubber and works with a clean arm. He stays inline toward the plate and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Noah operates with a three pith mix with his fastball topping out at 78mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 69-72mph with 3-9 break. Changeup sits from 69-70mph with arm side run and sinking action as he throws with deceptive arm speed. In the field, Noah shows fluid footwork and is agile covering ground. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them accurate/on-line to his target. At the plate, this LHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He shows smooth rhythm and generates explosive bat speed through the zone, driving the ball with authority. Overall, Noah is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
