01/16/2023 - National Showcase - Houston, TX Noah is a class of 2025 RHP/3B. He shows off a good-sized frame for his age with plenty of room to continue to fill it out. In the infield, he shows effective footwork and the ability to cover ground. Fields from a good square position with his hands presented out front. Does a good job of making accurate and online throws across the diamond. At the plate, he hits from a tall and even stance. Shows the ability to use his lower ½ effectively with the help of an effective load. Did a good job staying centered in his balance throughout his swing. Showed an advanced approach with a line drive focus to all fields. On the mound, he showed the ability to command 3 pitches for strikes. Showed repeatable mechanics and feel for all of his pitches. His fastball worked up to 77 while also showing a breaking ball with a 10-4 shape in the upper 60’s. Noah is a good young player with 2 years to continue his development.

11/18/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Fall Prospects Tournament (HS) Noah is a 2025 RHP/3B who showcased his skills during the Fall Prospects Tournament. At 3B, he tries to create good fielding angles and showed athletic actions. He fields from an athletic fielding position, with hands out front, and has a low funnel. Showed good hands and glove actions with ability to get rid of the ball. Made accurate throws across the diamond from a high 3/4 arm slot with good carry. On the mound, he separates his hands on-time and works with good direction down the mound. Has a simple delivery with ability to repeat it. Attacks hitters with a FB topping out at 79mph with tailing action, and an 10/4 shaped breaking ball. At the plate, he sets up in an upright and open stance with comfortable hands. Starts with a short/square glide step and keeps his weight between his knees. Gets hips through as he hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 83mph. At the event, Noah showed good plate discipline as he walked 3 times. Overall, Noah is a good player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

09/18/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Conroe (Houston), TX Noah is a RHP/3B prospect who will graduate in 2025. Tall frame lean build, with long levers, and strength present. At 3B, starts with active feet and has good body control at the baseball. Works from right to left and fields from a square fielding position with hands out front. Has a long arm stroke in back and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 77mph across the diamond. Made consistent throws, with good carry, and creates momentum towards target. On the mound, he has a projectible frame and showed willingness to compete. He works with good tempo and keeps his eyes on target throughout delivery. He throws a FB that sits 70-72mph with arm side run, a 9/3 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup that flashes movement. Has a whippy arm action and some deception to his delivery. At the plate, he hits from a tall and open stance. Lower half driven swing, with a square glide step, and gets his back hip through. A direct barrel path enables him to spray balls consistently to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 83mph. With 3 years of continued growth and development, we see this 2-way prospect having a bright future on the baseball field.

06/20/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 (HS) Noah is an up-and-coming 1B/RHP prospect in the 2025 class. He displays a very projectable body {6’3/160) with room to fill out. Scouts feel “he is an extremely coachable player who has a desire to get better each time he steps on the field”. On the mound, he has a confident mound presence and good poise. Maintains composure and slows the game down. Uses a 2-pitch mix and can get his body downhill. His FB topped at 75 with tailing actions. His CB sat 62 with 11/5 spin and sweeping actions. Scouts love his frontside action and his rhythm and tempo. Working to throw the top of the baseball more will prevent an across the body feel and allow him to stay in his legs longer. In the field, he presents a strong target for his defenders. Although he graded out as more of a PO at this point, with more repetitions and increased confidence around the bag, he can become a solid two-way player based upon his athletic ability. In the box, he displayed a line drive approach in BP and works to get his backside through. Begins with an open stance and more flexion in his lower half can create more balance in his swing. Overall, there is a lot to like about Noah’s abilities. Working on strength and repetitions will only help his game and help him get to the next level.

06/16/2022 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 (HS) Noah is a 2025 RHP/1B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series in Omaha. In the field, Noah showed active footwork and presents a big target at first base. He tries to create good fielding angles and tracks ball to glove. Has a clean transfer as he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an arm velocity up to 84mph. At the plate, he hits from an upright and open stance with comfortable hands. Showed quick hands and flat barrel through the hitting zone. He sprayed balls to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 82mph during BP. A right-handed pitcher who has long levers and projectible frame and has a confident mound presence. He separates his hands on-time and works downhill to his target. Showed ability to work in/out and up/down in the zone. A 3-pitch pitcher who works off of a FB that topped out at 72mph, a 10/4 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup. Arm strength and command will improve as he incorporates his lower half and cleans up his arm pattern. In 2 innings of work, Noah allowed O earned runs, no hits, and threw 62% of his pitches for strikes. Noah is a 2-way prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
