08/27/2023 - National Showcase - Lakewood (Denver), CO Noah continues to show as a prospect with improvements in his baseball abilities. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 2B, defensive abilities are outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls but needs to play through with his body. Hands / feet work well together through the fielding process. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds / turn of the double play. In the OF, defensive abilities are outstanding as he utilizes his aggressive feet as he takes proper routes / angles in tracking down balls. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate but will benefit by building more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to shine through a closed setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
