Official Scouting Report

08/27/2023 - National Showcase - Kansas City, KS Noah is a 5 ft 10/141 LHP in the 2024 class. He gathers over the rubber well and stays balanced in his stretch delivery. Has a clean 3 qtr arm circle with good rhythm with his separation. Stays closed on his front-side and uses a controlled and proper landing stride. His FB had sinking action and sat 61-3. His CB showed 1-7 shape and ranged 56-7. His CH had FB arm speed with sink at 59-61. Scouts feel with more lower half strength and a long toss program, he can increase velocity. Noah has solid starting points to have a future on the mound.

11/10/2022 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 14-18) Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and did so at the Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona. On the mound, delivery is sound and repeatable allowing his arm to work clean/quick to the plate through a low ¾ arm slot. Arm strength has improved as he threw his top velocity to date at 71 mph. Fastball showed a range of 65-71 mph with sinking action. Breaking ball displays 2/8 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. We look forward to seeing what the future holds as he enters his junior baseball season.

11/20/2020 - Texas Regional Pitching/Catching Weekend Noah is a LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Texas Regional Skills Weekend. On the mound, Noah shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 61mph with sinking action. Breaking ball sits from 50-52mph with 1-7 break. Changeup sits from 55-58mph. Striding inline toward the plate can help Noah improve his pitch command. Overall, Noah is a developing prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

11/01/2020 - All-In Membership - Frisco (DFW), TX Noah is a LHP/1B prospect who will graduate in 2024. On the mound, Noah gathers over the rubber and separates his hands on time. He works with a clean arm and finishes with a controlled landing. Noah shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 58mph. Changeup sits from 53-55mph with tailing action. Striding square toward the plate can help Noah improve his pitch command. In the field, Noah makes the routine plays and works to keep his throws accurate to his target. Noah can field ground balls more efficiently by getting into a more athletic fielding position. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a tall stance and works to barrel up the baseball, using the entire field well. Taking a shorter swing path can help Noah barrel up more baseballs. With four more years to develop, Noah has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
