12/27/2024 - Baseball Factory Holiday Classic at Pirate City Noah is a right-handed pitcher and outfielder from Homer Glen, IL, in the 2028 graduating class, who worked on his skill set at the Baseball Factory Pirate City Holiday Camp. In the field, he starts in a relaxed ready position and shows good angles with a quick exchange to get rid of the ball efficiently. His throws come from a three-quarter arm slot, making his arm action smooth and accurate. On the mound, Noah works from the stretch and shows good composure. He has a feel for pitching and uses his change-up effectively as his best off-speed pitch. However, he will need to work on utilizing his lower half more for better drive and power. At the plate, Noah starts with a square stance and uses a glide step. He demonstrates a flat barrel and rotates his core well, making consistent contact during live game action. With three more years of growth and development, Noah will continue to improve his overall game and refine his skills.

06/24/2024 - All-In National Showcase - Rosemont (Chicago), IL Noah is a RHP/OF rising freshman from Homer Glen, IL. Good reads off bat allow him to create good angles to balls. Has clean actions and loose arm stroke. Made consistent throws into infield from a high 3/4 arm slot and an arm velocity up to 70mph. On the mound, he works exclusively from the stretch. He separates his hands at the mid-line and throws a "heavy" ball. Uses his lower half well and lands square to his target. His FB topped 70mph and mixed in an 11/5 breaking ball. His best pitch was his changeup that he throws with FB arm speed and arm side run. He starts with a tall and open stance. Does a good job of staying stacked and has a fast barrel through the hitting zone. A flat barrel enables him to square balls into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph. Noah should have a good high school career with continued growth and development.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
