12/20/2023 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 Noah continues to impress with improvements in his baseball abilities at the Pirate City Christmas tournament. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.21 runner. At SS, he displays smooth / fluid actions. He shows active footwork as he attacks ball, working to square ball up. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. He utilizes his foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, fastball shows range of 66-68 mph. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to increase as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

04/30/2023 - National Showcase - Manalapan, NJ Noah is a 2027 SS/RHP prospect with a tall, thin frame at 5'10" 140 pounds. In the field, he shows off fluid feet and covers ground to the glove side. He does a good job of getting in a low fielding position and presenting soft hands out in front. He works slow in the infield and displays under control movements. His exchange is clean and he makes consistent, accurate throws with momentum through his target from a high 3/4 arm slot. At the plate, he starts in a squared, tall stance and gets a good hand load and squared stride toward the pitcher. He displays good, centered balance and simple, repeatable movements. His swing is on-plane and he squares the ball up to all fields. On the mound, Noah throws from a 3/4 arm angle and features a 3-pitch mix. He does a good job of getting his balance over the rubber and gets on-time separation while showing off a clean arm action. He gets good extension with his lead arm and does well to have a controlled landing with good stride length. His CB features gradual 11-5 break and he does a great job of throwing his CH with FB arm speed. Excited to see more of Noah as he grows in his baseball development!

10/02/2022 - Official Player Development Membership - Manalapan, NJ Noah raised velocity to 70 MPH and showed defensive upgrades during his last workout in NJ. At SS, Noah has active feet, a presentable glove, and he covers ground well. He has good pre-pitch actions, a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy and momentum across the diamond. On the mound, Noah has good size, a clean arm circle, and he gets good extension on his pitches. He keeps his eyes on target, works on a downhill plane, and competes well in the zone. Offensively, Noah stands in the box with an open stance, he has a smooth stride, and a rhythmic swing. He has long levers, solid bat speed, and he finds the barrel consistently.

07/05/2022 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (MS) Noah is a tall, lean SS/RHP who will graduate in 2027. At SS, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is clean and presents out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. At the plate, he shows an open setup. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Lower half works well through an aggressive hip turn. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 66-68 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with slight sink. Getting on a long toss program to develop more arm strength and developing off speed pitches will aid in improving abilities on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he works hard and is very coachable. With 5 years to further develop, Noah has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
