07/28/2017 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Noah is a talented 3B/RHP prospect who has a versatile skill set and graduates in 2019. At the hot corner, Noah plays with effective footwork and proper pre-pitch action to get a good jump on the ball. He makes the routine plays and shows smart baseball instincts. Noah has a clean exchange leading into a long arm action throwing from a 3/4 arm slot. His throws are accurate and he is developing arm strength. As a right-handed hitter, Noah has a tall stance with a centered balance. He has smooth rhythm with a good load and closed stride. Noah has an on-plane swing path producing consistent contact. He shows a good understanding of the strike zone and looks to put the ball in play. Noah has the ability to spray the ball to all fields. On the mound, Noah pitches with good rhythm with works downhill. He has a balanced, on-time delivery throwing from on an over the top arm slot. He stays square to home plate with the proper stride length. Overall, Noah has a well-rounded game with the right approach giving him upside to take his game to the next level.

06/11/2017 - College PREP - Hoover (Birmingham), AL Noah is a tall, athletic 3B/RHP who a promising future on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing with power showing best to the pull side. At 3B, he displays smooth / athletic actions. Feet are aggressive as he attacks balls and plays through well with his body. Hands are soft / sure and he presents well out front. Range will continue to improve as he improves foot quickness. On the mound, delivery is sound / repeatable allowing his arm action to work free to the plate. He shows good tempo through a strong balance point and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. Breaking ball displays 11/5 shape with gradual break. He throws a slider that resembles breaking ball. He maintains arm speed on his changeup but throws too hard to fastball velocities. Control is solid as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 2 years to further develop, Noah has a lot of potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
