01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) Noah a tall, athletic LHP/1B who showed as a prospect at the Under Armour Pre Season All American Tournament. On the mound, he works to a controlled balance point, has smooth separation and fires from a clean/loose arm action. He gets strong glove-side lead and stays directional toward the dish. FB ranges from 79-81 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball shows 2/8 shape with late / sharp break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with sinking action. Control is solid as he attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches. At the plate, he displays outstanding hitting abilities with well above average power potential through a tall setup. Hands are quick (85 mph exit velocity) generating bat speed to and through a short / direct / level swing path, creating extension. Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball exploding off the bat when centered. At 1B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are firm and presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds of the double play. Throws are accurate with online zip (87 mph velocity) to his target. With 2 years to further develop, Noah has a lot of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
