09/16/2021 - Pathway AZ Upperclass - 18U Noah is a 2023 C prospect who showcased his skills at the Pathway Tournament. At C, he has athletic actions, with active feet, and presents a low target. Good lateral movement, with good blocking angles, and centers the baseball. Works thumb under, with a clean exchange, into a high 3/4 release point with good carry on his throws to second base. Arm velocity has been up to 82mph and his best pop time to date is 1.97 seconds. A right-handed hitter, he hits from a tall and open stance with high hand set. Relaxed setup, with on-time rhythm, and is centered at contact. A flat barrel path enables him to spray balls consistently to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 77mph. During the games, Noah reached base 4 times with 4 singles, 3 base on balls, and a hit by pitch. He also had 3 stolen bases and 2 RBI's. With 2 years of continued growth and development, we foresee Noah making huge strides on the baseball field.

07/21/2021 - Baseball Factory Southwest Championships 16U Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer / exchange. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 1.97 and will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a squared setup and presents a soft mitt out front and utilizes his body through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Receiving / blocking skills show as quality tools that will play well. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact through a line drive approach.

06/18/2021 - Baseball Factory All-State Tournament (HS) Noah is a class of 2023 C/2B. Behind the plate, he shows an easy sit with flexible hips to help him show a low target to pitchers. Did a good job using his feet to create momentum towards 2nd base on his throw downs. Did a good job blocking and keeping runners at their original bases in games. Arm velo was up to 81 MPH. At the plate, he hits from a square stance and shows a short and repeatable stride. Did a good job using his lower ½ in his swing. Showed a quiet head and an ability to track the ball well deep into the zone. In game action he recorded multiple RBI’s and a single to go with it. Noah is a good prospect with 2 more years to continue his development.

05/16/2021 - Official College Recruiting Membership - San Jose, CA Noah continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. Behind the plate, he shows a squared setup and tracks the ball well with soft glove through an athletic setup. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Receiving / blocking skills show as outstanding tools that will play well at the next level. Pop times showed in the 2.00 with accuracy / carry (82 mph velocity) on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At 2B, defensive abilities are well above average as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he attacks balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. At the plate, he continues to shine through a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Lower half works well through the swing and shows a feel for the barrel. With 2 years to further develop, Noah has the makings of a special type player with time and room to progress his game.

02/12/2021 - Baseball Factory Opening Day Classic (HS - West) Noah is a 2023 C/2B. Medium frame and athletic build with square shoulders and some strength in the lower half. Primary catcher has a shorter arm stroke behind the plate, making accurate throws to second base at 76mph. Starts from a slightly side straddle stance and gains ground to second base. Does a good job of blocking and creating angles. Bulldog mentality behind plate. Right-handed hitter with athletic and square stance. Showcases developing bat speed and repeats a simple approach. Works inside the ball and shows best when driving the ball the opposite way. Battles at the plate and doesn’t give at-bats away. Three years of continued growth and development will bode well for his career at the next level.

01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (FL) Noah is an athletic catching prospect who continues to show well and did so again at the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. Noah would show great defensive work behind the plate both receiving and blocking. He looked very comfortable in his stance, quiet as he received the ball and quick with his blocking footwork. Transfer is clean as he replaces his feet well with accuracy on his throws down to 2B - pop times remaining in the low 2's. Not only did he impress behind the dish, but Noah also showed his athleticism off at the plate. His loose hands, firm front side, and centered balance helped provide a consistent approach at the plate. He barrels the ball up and looks to drive the middle of the field. Potencion is a solid prospect who has skills and upside as he's only entering into his sophomore season.

12/27/2020 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Noah is a coachable C/2B prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Recruiting Classic. Behind the plate, Noah presents a good target to the pitcher and receives with soft hands. His exchange is clean and he makes strong throws through the 2B bag. He is smooth moving to block and keeps the ball in front of him. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is controlled getting his hands activated in his load and works to barrel up the baseball, driving the ball to the opposite field. Overall, Noah is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

09/04/2020 - HS All-Region Tournament Noah continues to shine on the diamond. Behind the dish, he presents a soft/sure mitt showing great pocket awareness sticking pitches. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process, centering balls well out front. Pop times showed in the 2.19 range with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, shows a squared setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side.

07/12/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - San Jose, CA Noah continues to work hard and shows well on the diamond. Behind the dish, he sits in well with athletic actions and good flexion. He sticks pitches in the zone, framing well. Throws to 2B are on the bag as he he quick footwork and a quick/clean transfer to throw - pop times now at 2.00. With the bat, this RHH shows a crouched stance with active hands. He whips the barrel to and through the zone, connecting and driving it to all parts of the field. He is a lead-off type who has a knack for barreling up the ball. Only a 2023 grad - Noah has upside and is one to keep an eye on.

12/14/2019 - Nor Cal Regional Offensive Skills Weekend (Ages 14-18) Noah is a coachable C prospect who worked hard on his skills during the Accelerated Training Weekend. Behind the plate, Noah shows quick footwork and is agile moving to block. He sits in an athletic stance and presents a good target to the pitcher. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to the 2B bag. Long tossing to build up his arm strength can help Noah improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a short stride. He is fluid getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He generates fast bat speed through the zone, leading to solid contact to all fields. Noah can improve as a hitter by taking a more level swing path. Overall, Noah is a solid prospect who has the potential to further develop his skills on the field.

11/08/2019 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition in Arizona (Ages 14-18) Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Behind the dish, pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.19 with accuracy on his throws and gets rid of the baseball quickly. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a solid setup and presents a low target. He utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner. At the plate, he shows a squared setup. He has fluid rhythm while getting good hand separation. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and is a solid team player.

07/07/2019 - Baseball Factory Cleveland All Star Experience (Ages 12-14) Noah is a young and athletic C/RHP that will graduate in 2023. Behind the plate Noah presents a low glove and an athletic secondary stance. Out of the hole he replaces his feet with a clean exchange with throws that are on the bag. Blocking, his footwork is on time and he works to center the ball in front of him. At the plate, Noah's stance is square with high hands and gets a small, square stride that's on time and fluid. He rotates against a firm front firing his hips through getting on plane with explosive bat speed. On the mound Noah shows a 3-pitch mix with a FB, CB, CH. The FB shows some AS Run, the CB is 9-3 and continues to develop, and the CH showed some life. His mechanics are simple, fluid, and on time. His AA is clean with +extension and rotates to finish. Noah is young but has several more years to advance his game.

07/05/2018 - California Select Training & Competition - Session 1 (Ages 12-14) Noah continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities. He improved his pop times as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.35. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. Feet are quick in gaining ground through a clean transfer / exchange as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. He shows a solid setup and sticks balls well in the zone and utilizes his body well through the blocking process but needs to work to get down sooner. At the plate, hands are quick and work inside the ball, utilizing all fields. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. On the mound, fastball showed a range of 62-64 mph. Breaking ball displays 10/4 shape with gradual break. Control is a plus as he throws strikes with all his pitches. Getting on a long toss program will help to increase arm strength which will aid in his development on the mound. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a great personality, is very coachable and works hard to be the best player he can be.

12/03/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Sacramento, CA Noah is a skilled C/RHP who can swing the stick. Defensively behind the plate, he presents a low target with active footwork. He receives pitches with a soft mitt and has a clean exchange to throw. On the hill, this righty gathers over the rubber with a 3-pitch mix. He delivers from a 3/4 arm slot with free arm action and fills up the zone with strikes. As a hitter, Noah shows an athletic setup with fluid rhythm to load. He rips his lower 1/2, swings on a direct path through the zone and drives pitches with hard contact from gap to gap. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
