05/26/2024 - All-In National Showcase - Minneapolis, MN Nolan is a 3B/OF prospect who will graduate in 2025. Medium frame strong build with room to add throughout. Show improvement in all of his measurables since the last time we saw him. Ran his 60-yard dash in 6.97 seconds. In the OF he takes aggressive routes to balls and works behind ball. He fields from a low fielding position with a clean gather off of his left foot. Shows a quick release with an arm velocity up to 93mph. At 3B he starts with a good prep step and works from right to left. Shows athletic actions with good rhythm. Has good carry on his throws to all bases from multiple arm angles. He hits from an athletic and open stance. Has good timing to his swing with a middle of the field approach. During his round of BP, he kept his weight between his knees as he sprayed balls to all fields. With another season of growth and development, we foresee this 2-way prospect having a bright future on the baseball field.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
