08/01/2024 - All-Ripken Games - Dallas, TX Oakley Schuler is a tall SS/2B who throws right, and hits left, that recently competed at the All-Ripken Games. Defensively he is extremely athletic and will continue to improve as he has the frame to add a lot of good weight. At the plate he had very good bat to ball skills and also was able to display power in multiple at bats. He was able to reach base safely on 6 of 12 plate appearances. Including two doubles and he also collected two Singles. On the mound he had a great mound presence and displayed a really good pick off move that controlled the running game. His fastball was clocked at 55 mph.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
